Talking with Dinosaurs

The (mis)adventures of a pair of elders who somehow get through life while mishearing (or not hearing) the conversations around them.

Wilhelm Mueller and Gunther Schmidt are close friends enjoying their golden years.  Their diminished hearing abilities complicate human interactions, but it does not prevent them from living full, happy lives.

We join them shopping for vacation clothes, lunching at a seaside restaurant, and thwarting a shakedown by a pair of thugs.

Back home again, we empathize with Wilhelm when he attempts to replace his cell phone.  Our gents finally give in and answer an ad for in-home hearing tests, and we join them in their hilarious interactions with a buxom examiner.

It should be noted that the author is not laughing at these fine gentlemen, but laughing with them, for he shares their malady.
