Treadwell adjusted her phone camera and handed it to Calamari.  He leaned into the cavity, took several pictures, and withdrew.  Selecting one of the photos and zooming in, Calamari exclaimed, “Oh, my.”

“What is it?” Treadwell asked as she moved closer.

Calamari held the phone to give her a better view.  He pointed to the center of the picture.  “What does that look like to you?”

Treadwell was quiet for a moment, then gasped.  “That looks like skeletal toes.”
